Privacy notice
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This notice covers the Activate Leaders website, our contact form and our Delegation Playbook enquiry form. The separate leadership assessment has its own privacy policy.
Who we are
Activate Leaders Ltd is the controller of the information described here. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17499418. Our registered office is 483 Green Lanes, London N13 4BS. You can contact us about privacy at mike@activateleaders.co.uk.
What we collect
If you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, company size and anything you write in your message. The Delegation Playbook form also asks about your role, the programme option that interests you and how you heard about us. If you email us or book a conversation, we receive the information you provide in that exchange.
Our hosting and security services process basic technical information, such as your IP address and requests made to the site. We do not ask you to include sensitive personal information in an enquiry.
Why we use it
- We use enquiry details to respond, discuss your needs and, if appropriate, take steps towards a service agreement. Our lawful bases are our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and taking steps at your request before a contract.
- We use information from a booking to arrange and carry out the conversation. Cal.com handles the booking on its own service.
- We use technical information to deliver and protect the site. Our lawful basis for related personal-data processing is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
- We load optional Microsoft Clarity analytics only if you choose to allow it. We use it to understand how people use the site and improve it. You can change that choice through the analytics choices control.
Submitting either website form does not sign you up for marketing emails. We do not make automated decisions about you through these forms.
Who handles the information
Netlify hosts this site and processes form submissions. Cloudflare Turnstile helps check form submissions for bots. We receive and respond to enquiries through Google Workspace. Microsoft Clarity processes optional analytics if you allow it. If you choose to book, Cal.com processes your booking details. These providers may process information outside the UK; where a restricted transfer applies, we rely on the relevant UK adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
If an enquiry does not lead to a client relationship, we keep it for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless an ongoing issue or legal requirement means we need it longer. If we work together, we keep the records needed to provide the service and meet our legal and accounting duties, then delete them when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, subject to any records we must retain.
Analytics and your choice
We do not load Microsoft Clarity until you select “Allow analytics”. If you decline, it stays off. We save your choice in your browser so we do not ask on every page. You can reopen analytics choices at any time. Cloudflare Turnstile and other technology needed to run and protect the forms may still operate when analytics is off.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to its use, or receive a portable copy. You can withdraw consent for optional analytics at any time. Contact mike@activateleaders.co.uk to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
We will update this notice when our website or data practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
